A Vow Renewal in the White Mountains

Flora and Mustafa love Halloween and especially fall, so it’s not surprising that they chose to celebrate their vow renewal in the New Hampshire White Mountains.

When we first started planning their day, the idea was that they’d say their vows at the top of Artists Bluff in Franconia and then descend to Profile Lake for a picnic and a toast. But Mother Nature had other plans. A surprise snow storm made it impossible for us to hike up Artists Bluff so Will and I quickly came up with a Plan B and presented it to them. They loved it! We changed locations and moved our adventure to North Conway, just about an hour southeast of Franconia Notch.

We arrived at their AirBnB at about 1 pm. We hung out as they lounged with coffee mugs in hand. They rented a beautiful place overlooking the New Hampshire Mountains, so they wanted to make sure we captured the beauty of where they were staying. As they started getting ready, we captured those intimate moments between them.

As Will was finalizing getting ready photos, I helped set up their picnic in the yard. Flora loves cake and they wanted to celebrate their day with a little cake and champagne.

After that we headed to Echo Lake Park in Conway for where they’d renew their vows as the sun was about to set. We ended the night with beautiful Blue Hour photos. They brought lanterns which helped light the way as clicked away into the night.
