A Rustic Summer Wedding in New Hampshire

Kristen and Dean are one of those beautiful couples, that you really only realize how beautiful they truly are once you get to know them. They’re generous, laid back, loving and caring. We feel pretty lucky that we got to know them and that they trusted us to document their special day.

Our day began early as we met Kristen and her bridal party at the beautiful home she was getting ready in. We documented things as they occurred before heading over to the Wolfeboro Inn, where Dean was getting ready with his pals. Then we headed back over to where Kristen was to finalize her portraits and first look with dad before heading over to St. Katherine’s Drexel Parish in Alton, NH for their 1pm ceremony. Their traditional Catholic ceremony was beyond beautiful. The singing and the piano/organ playing were divine. We were simply in awe of such beauty.

Their fun reception took place at Tumbledown Farms in Brookfield, NH. Every single detail was so authentic to this couple. They both love the outdoors and a more rustic, organic vibe that farms have to offer. They found all of that in this venue. We also have to mention that the food and late night snacks (sliders, hot dogs and popcorn) were simply delicious.

One of the most beautiful surprises of the night was hearing Kristen sing a song that she wrote for Dean. Yes, Kristen is a singer/songwriter who before becoming a holistic nutritionist, actually moved to Nashlville to pursue a career in music. Fortunately, she decided to move back and make New Hampshire her home.

Everything about this day was perfect and we are thrilled to be sharing in our blog today. Congrats, Kristen and Dean. Thank you for trusting us to capture your day!
