A Late Fall Charles River Esplanade Engagement Session

We are excited to share another incredible fall engagement session from late 2018! Kayla and Greg are originally from Connecticut (where they met), but fate would bring them both to Boston. After graduating from Northeastern University, Greg had the opportunity to stay in the city to pursue his professional career in engineering. Kayla followed upon graduating from UConn.

We are thrilled that we’ll be taking part in their special day and excited to be joining them at their home state for the wedding (they’ll be getting married at Kayla’s family golf course, the Grassmere Country Club).

For their engagement session though, we decided that Boston would make the perfect backdrop since this is now home for them. We first met at the Starbucks Boston Common for coffee. We chatted for about an hour about life, wedding planning, long-distance relationships, being a Husky (like Greg, I’m also a Northeastern alumni), yoga, being a vegetarian and a whole lot more. Then we walked to the Charles River Esplanade for an insane golden hour, fall foliage session. Though it was pretty chilly, the fall foliage looked so beautiful and the sun reflecting in the Charles River made for an insane session.

Thank you, Kayla and Greg, for trusting us to be your wedding photographers and for braving the cold that day. We can’t wait for October 2019!
