An Intimate Wedding at The Tannery Loft

When Iman and Paul first reached out to us in late 2019, we were super excited to learn about their big day plans. What struck me when they first reached out was something that Iman had said in her first correspondence to us: “Paul and I are pretty thrilled to get married.” Those words stayed with me. I knew they were pouring themselves into making their day special and it quickly became clear that it was much more important for them that it be a celebration of their love – no frills. Just a celebration of them, surrounded by the people they love and care about most.

The Tannery loft is a very dynamic venue. You can set up your event for seated dinner or lounge style. Iman and Paul selected the latter. Paul and Iman’s wedding was also a Islamic ceremony, in which they were seated during the actual marriage. As you’ll see in the photos, the Tannery Loft has a great inventory of vintage inspired furniture. It really worked out perfectly for their day.

They also decided on having a first look, which was so fun and emotional because they read their vows to each other without all their guests having to hear it. Pro tip: if you’d rather read your vows in privacy, a first look or a first touch are great for that. Plus, we’ll be there to capture it and you’ll have those images to cherish forever. For their first look we sneaked out of the warehouse and found a great little spot behind the parking lot with lots of trees and a dirt road. It couldn’t have worked more perfectly. Take a look for yourself – this was a beautiful, very intimate wedding celebration and we were so happy to have been a part of it.
